mark 1 Posted June 27, 2009 has anyone noticed this, When i click save the screen changes slightly basically the colour increases and seems more vibrant and less washed out. As soon as save is done it changes back. If anyone has witnessed this do you know how to constanly have these graphic settings fiddled with the video settings and im on max but no joy? Richard Bruce Cheney 10 Posted June 27, 2009 I think that is post-processing, there is some color filter applied to the screen. You are seeing the raw output when you save. It would be nice to have this super-saturation at some point during the day/night cycle. Perhaps it shows up in-game at some point. I've only been playing for three days straight, so I know I haven't seen much of ArmA2.
nodunit 397 Posted June 27, 2009 Gamma correction, the higher it is the brighter things are and the less satured. You can lower it to get more color and compensate on the darkness by raising the brightness bar. Here are some pictures to explain a bit http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=64;t=57649;st=0 Unfortunately only the second set of pictures appear to be working, I suggest you fiddle with the options yourself and find something you like.
