J van E 10 Posted June 26, 2009 I've been giving the demo a try but I noticed EVERYTHING that's further away than a few meters in not sharp. Highly annoying. As if your glasses are smeared with grease. And as if you just can't focus... I just walked into a city and there was a gasstation with a sign, but I couldn't read it even when I was almost there. And after doing one more step SUDDENLY it popped up sharp. (BTW There is popup EVERYWHERE, all the grass around me is constantly popping up). Anything I can do to get sharp graphics? And btw I am not talking about motion blur!
DieterWeber 0 Posted June 26, 2009 Turn down Post Processing to Low. Problem fixed.
Beagle 684 Posted June 26, 2009 Have a look at fill rate too! Make screen resolution and 3D resolution the same.
Demiun 10 Posted June 26, 2009 I think it hardly relates with post-processing effects or fill rate as he speaks about textures "poping-up". Rather look into the various level of details settings (textures of course, plus terrain and object details) as well as with the view distance and with video memory (I don't remember the exact name). If you lack memory, try reducing the view distance and increasing the objects details. Good luck !
