ARMA 2 Demo has stopped working

Recommended Posts

The demo crashes anywhere between 30 seconds and 10 minutes (10 minutes is the longest I've played) and gives me this error:

ARMA 2 Demo has stopped working.

Then I have to select to close the program.

That's it. It's not in any particular point in the game, it's not during graphically intense scenes, it's just random.

Specs:

Windows Vista 64

nForce 750i SLI FTW Intel Mobo

E8400 3.0Ghz Oc'd to 3.6Ghz

Geforce 8800gt 512mb x2 SLI

6gb OCZ 800 mhz

Seagate 160 gb HD

Hey rusky, I fixed my issue, I believe. If you have Vista, check your Problem Reports and Solutions history and you will see the log of the error. I did that and found the culprit:

It was an Nvidia driver issue for me. I had 186.18 and I rolled back all the way to 182.08 and it works now..Good luck bro!

I rolled back my Nvidia video card drivers from 186.18 to 182.08.

You should check your problem reports and solutions to see if the video drivers is the issue though.
