-C4-Draeger-OwP- 0 Posted June 20, 2009 It's really, really annoying!!. Every time I switch to another member of the team, the team leader stands straight up from crouched or prone. Might as well wave a flag above his head and yell "Hi...!!!. I'm over here!!". :D How can I stop this happening?. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
frederf 0 Posted June 20, 2009 When you control an AI squad you can give them orders prone, crouch, stand but it doesn't apply to the #1 giving those orders. To get the leader to keep stance when switching you'd need some sort of script rolled in that gives a "keep X stance" to apply directly to #1 when switching away from him. On a philosophical level the group leader uses his own judgment for his own and the group's manner of moving. If you switch away from #1 and #1 decided that standing is the best option, it's hard to argue with his free will since he outranks you! At that point the criticism comes that the AI don't choose stance intelligently of their own accord. Have you tried giving #3 an order to "stay prone," switching to #3, playing around in his body, switching away from #3 and seeing if he resumes his prone orders?
