Vehicle External View issue/Help

I am having a problem with the Distance and the cameras Center when driving or gunning on uneven ground. The View actually restricts your movement. If I could just ZOOM out more the camera or change its center I would not be looking at ground looking at grass half the game.

I have not been able to change the default external view is there a way to do this?

These were changes made from OFP to ArmA1, for me the OFP chase views are far better on vehicles, choppers and planes etc

Whats even worse just view the Scene Mode in the Armory.

Numpad_- is used for zoom out to max FOV by default. However it doesn't "stick" when you press it twice in rapid succession like it does for Man vehicle classes.
