Installing 1.02 patch on dedicated server.

Hi,

I have installed a dedicated server by uploading the game files on my server, but now I'm unable to install the 1.02 patch on the dedicated serveur.

Must I re-upload the whole game files on the dedicated server or are there a better way to upgrade the serveur ?

If you try to patch it does it say that Arma2 is not installed ?

Is it something to do with adding reg keys as ArmA 1?

My provider is reporting the same problem he had a "CAA10`requires addon `CACharacters2" error show

Yeah you need to extract some reg keys from a PC where it is installed

my reg file

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ArmA2]

"UninstallString"="r:\\ArmA2\\UnInstall.exe"

"DisplayName"="ArmA2 Uninstall"

change the paths to match yours then import the data

Tried the actual reg key, not done the uninstall info tho. (as yours)

I haven't checked with v1.02, but with v1.01 the installer required ArmA2.exe to be present. You could see if that's the problem.

Yep that is present, uninstall.exe is not tho.

Any other ideas guys? tearing my hair out here

and

lift this key from your own PC

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2]
