ChrizzleNL 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Yesterday Ã've got the same problem , played the game for like 10 min , and then it crashed back to windows ! I even got a Blue screen yesterday ?:j: Are these Main issues or Bugs ? because my pc never crashes normally !!
Razorman 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Erm why do people running a BETA operating system wonder why when they have crashes? Try updating W7 & ALL drivers associated with your system, if that fails then install a non beta operating system.
ChrizzleNL 10 Posted June 19, 2009 I also run Windows 7 RC , but never had any problems .. and all the drivers are updated included my 4890 Drivers . So i think its not my system ..
Razorman 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Where does it say W7 is supported in ARMA 2? My point exactly.
ChrizzleNL 10 Posted June 19, 2009 But its running , so if its not supported it wont be running i guess ? Are you guessing ? of are you sure of your case ?
EDcase 87 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Windows 7 is not yet released so there are likely to be plenty of bugs even if it runs. Chrizzle: If you get Bluescreen (BSOD) You have a driver problem. Try slightly older graphics drivers. Edited June 19, 2009 by EDcase
ChrizzleNL 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Hmm , so maybe better to run Vista ? Cuz i want to play this game without any problems . And over the BSOD, it said about the memory .. but after i changed something in the shortcut in the properties , -2024memmax or something like that . So i changed it back. But are your suggestion its better to run Vista instead of W7 ?
Razorman 10 Posted June 19, 2009 I think the best suggestion is that you go & do a lot more research on Pc's & how they work, google is your friend, remember a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I wouldn't want to see your pc going FUBAR after you following some of the spurious advice that is given on these forums.
TaichoZ 0 Posted June 19, 2009 It does the same thing on vista so i dual booted windows 7 but for some reason it runs without any crashes on my older crappy pc with vista lol
