EDcase 87 Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Hi and welcome, If you want more realism than standard shooters then you'll love it.... Bear in mind that there are bugs but for such a huge game most if us don't mind a few niggles. Plus BIS are very dedicated and follow up with updates and patches to fix things. No trip flares or parachute flares in the game that I know of but there will be LOADS of mods soon so maybe in future ;) Edited June 18, 2009 by EDcase
thr0tt 12 Posted June 18, 2009 Same theme as your favoured games but you won't be bunny hopping over the place and the overall pace of the game is more strategic and slower than your normal twitch shooters. When playing just keep in mind that realism is the key although the UI may detract from that initially while you get used to it. Make sure you try the training missions and at least start the campaign b4 going online with it to give you an idea of what to do. Practice running, prone, crouch etc. and see how the aiming works as the crosshairs are not the same as your other games... Flying should be fun ;)
Swedda 10 Posted June 18, 2009 i stooked to test the flying myself, never played arma either im an old battlegroundeurope player and really hope this game can meat my pretty high expectations. Btw is there black/redouts when flying ?
Alex72 1 Posted June 18, 2009 Btw is there black/redouts when flying ? No. But can be made by modding. The jets and helis should be able to get quite some facelifts in many areas when modders start messing with it. ;) Alex
