coltomb 0 Posted June 10, 2009 I assume the driver you are using is from Dell? If so have you tried using the driver right from Nvidia... 185.5 I think
muttly 10 Posted June 10, 2009 xps 720 xp its np now the latest driver i got from nvidia did nt seem to agree with arma so rolled back to 6.14.11.7474 (24/3/2008)from dell website and seems to work ok every thing on low settings:oi dont really now lot about pc s but i take it my machine be able to handle gtx295 video cards:confused:or will i have to upgrade other parts to get it to work and are they easy to install or shall i just take it to local pc shop and see what they can do with it
coltomb 0 Posted June 10, 2009 You biggest issue for a new GTX295 would be the power supply in the computer. Here is the minimum specs: Minimum 680W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 46A)*** *** Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 This logo may only be used by 3.2GHz processor If you don't know what this means than your best bet is to take ti to someone. coltomb 0 Posted June 10, 2009 This link may prove to answer that question easier than I: http://www.newegg.com/product/CategoryIntelligenceArticle.aspx?articleId=199 Basically it should be written right on the power supply:)
