I am new to ARMA2 and there seems to be a beta patch released, how do i join the beta?

Also any news on a demo coming out before release.

dude, you got it totally wrong: the beta patch was for the full version. beta refers to the state of the patch. it has since gone final.

well, firstly, the beta patch is now over it's beta stage, and is now the 1.01final patch ( can be downloaded form the arma2.com site )

2. : Beta patches are (usualy) free for everyone to try out here @bis place. Bis used to ( and i'm sure will continue to ) release the beta patches as a mod, so you just used it as any other mod out there. ( remember to allways use modfolders!)

That way, you easily can change between latest official version, and the latest beta version of the game.

But as i said, the 1.01b isn't anymore, it's now the 1.01f

Searching for "demo" would have answered the demo question. Questions about the patch could have been asked in a thread about patch which again could have been found by searching.
