Firefly_1005 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Hey all, I just need some assurance, I finally broke down and decided to dump my Voodoo3 2000 pci card we had some good times together. Now I have a budget to follow and I have picked the Gforce2 mx400 card. Will this be a better overall card for me, will it out perform the voodoo card that I currently have.. Be nice, no flames.. Chan 1 Posted March 6, 2002 If you can shell out about 50 dollars more, you can get a Geforce 4 MX which outperforms a Geforce 2 MX by many generations... Go to www.pricewatch.com for the lowest prices.. Welcome to the forums..

DodgeME 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Well the voodoo 3 was a nice card and l got a HUGE performance boost with a GF3. Well GF2MX cards can be slow in some games so l would suggest getting a GF3 card. If you have limted cash get a GF3 Ti 200 whick kicks the lower end GF4MX cards.
Gorgi Knootewoot 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Or you can save some more money, and buy the GF4 Ti4600. It is the best card available. It is expensive, but the ti series have three classes. the Ti4600, Ti4400 and the Ti4200. Ti 4200 has no nfiniteII engine, but the Ti4600 and Ti4400 do. Ti4600 is slightly faster, but the Ti4400 is cheaper and good enough and better then any GF3. So i would recommend GF4Ti4600 or Ti4400. I myself saved money to buy Ti4600 and it is released this month.
