Windows7 64bit - I7 -4890- black screen

Good evening gentlemen,

am having a problem with my rig on Windows7 64bit ;I7;6gig ram Ati 4890

I already read about the probs with a rig above 4gig and Ati cards...but wasnt able to fix it at all.

After starting i get a "black Screen", mouse still visible.

Checked on Arma version 1.0

Checked on Arma version 1.15

Not checked with 1.16 ... as i noticed right now only.

Any suggestions ? Is that prob common?

I read dusty explanations about any shortcuts to change...but i wasnt able to deal with those hints until now.

I experienced something similar using my friends machine. Since you have a ATI card running with 1.15b, run your game in a Window.

But it is better to update to 1.16b, I hear it my be best to just rename the beta directory instead of using the 1.15b uninstall. I never heard any confirmed reasons to stay away from that.

But 1.16b has some significant of fixes for ATI cards. Try that.

i now installed 1.16 and well...now it worls, sry for the thread.

Nevertheless i got that prob with each patch i checked b4.

Means i installed 1.16,and changed noting on my rig config or the shortcut.
