Floppi 0 Posted December 4, 2001 after 2 weeks reading thru endless of threads i finally found the following solution as ofp always crashed to the desktop when clicking on continue. Somewhere I read that someone had a problem with cloneCD and that he removed it as well. This is what i did: - uninstall any cd copy programs i.e. clone, blindread etc - delete all entries in registry (use search function) - uninstall ofp - delete all ofp entries in registry (use search function) - install ofp without installing directx again - install direct X separately thereafter - reboot - finish PS: I could even update my ofp for the first time However, one problem still remains as sometime when i finish the program is crashes showing a black screen and a white stripe in the middle of the screen, but as i said no more crashed to the desktop Any idea to solve this problem when exit the program ? Also when downloading update 2 with GoZilla it broke after 33MB and i am looking for a solution to continue the download where it stopped ? Floppi
tlx 0 Posted December 5, 2001 You should be able to resume downloads with GoZilla. Anyway be aware that it contains spyware. Use a program like Ad-Aware to get rid of it. (Edited by tlx at 2:56 am on Dec. 5, 2001)
