Fiasco 0 Posted January 25, 2009 How many buttons on a joystick will ArmA recognize? I have a Ch Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals configured as a single 6 axis 32 button joystick but Arma recognizes only 16 buttons.
andersson 285 Posted January 28, 2009 You can configure all your actions to your CH-hotas. I have even made the 3 different modes to switch between normal and reverse throttle! Good when you use airplanes and choppers, push the button and the throttle is reversed Green light for planes and red for choppers. The clue is to use the CH manager. I can give you my profile if you'd like. Its quite easy to reassign the buttons if you dont agree on the setup. You might have to change the controller id in the script though.. And I'm thinking of tweaking the axis input though for better control, right now it is what it is.. You can find good info and help here: http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/

You can find good info and help here: http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/ The CH Manager and CMS scripting rule. Â I understand how to set it all up. Â I have my joysticks configured as a single 32 button controller but ARMA only recognizes the first 16 buttons (all 32 buttons show to work when testing the joystick out in the control panel). I use my throttle wheel on my fighterstick to control zoom level and have it set to toggle CMS.B1 to "true" at values greater then 240. Â CMS.B1 is set to hold down the button that triggers "zoom out". I also set my pro throttle mini joystick as a mouse control that triggers CMS.B2 to true when the mini joystick is deflected more then 20 points off center. Â CMS.B2 is set to a mouse button. Â When I bring up my map I can scroll the map around simply by moving my mini joystick which is very handy in flight.
