franze 196 Posted January 20, 2009 Moving to ArmA user missions.
manzilla 1 Posted January 20, 2009 If a mission is just in a folder it is meant to be opened in the Editor.(Or the creator just forgot to .pbo the folder) Put the folder in Documents/ArmA/missions. If you want to play the mission you need to pack the folder into a .pbo file and place it in the Missions(or MPmissions) folder in the main ArmA folder. manzilla 1 Posted January 23, 2009 What is the name of the mission folder that you are trying to use? By this I mean the folder you open up to get to the .sqs file. And is there a mission.sqm file with the .sqs file? Or is there just an .sqs file by itself? If there's just an .sqs file and no mission.sqm then it's not a mission at all. It's just a script to use in a mission and you need to create your own mission to use the script.
frattonstation 1 Posted January 24, 2009 MattRBase.Sara is the folder I am trying to get up . It has a .Sqm file in it.
manzilla 1 Posted January 24, 2009 Take that folder and put it into Documents/ArmA/missions. Then open it up in the Editor. If you can't get that to work I don't know what to tell you. I've got that same folder in there and it works fine. Better yet, tell me the exact location that you put the folder when you had no luck getting it to work.
