ArmA installer crashes

Hello everybody,

I tried to install ArmA on my new computer and when I run 'autorun.exe' it crashes immedietely. It was working on my old sempron 3000 with win xp sp2 32 bit, but on intel q6600, win xp sp3 I cannot install it from the original dvd (version 1.0 german). Can anyone help me?

Do you get any error codes? Have you updated your Windows recently?

Hello,

The problem was a driver for IDE controller. I couldn't start any program from dvd. After uninstalling the driver everything runs now.
