Scullbones 0 Posted December 5, 2001 I have downloaded the patches and when I try to install them nothing happens. I unzip them and then click on the patch application and nothing happens. I keep trying but it won't install or fun or anything. (I have the European version). When the first patch came out I tried to install it but nothing happened. I don't get an error message or anything, nothing happens. I figured something must have happened with the data which will not allow the patch to be installed. So I reinstalled the game and tried the patch again. This time when I clicked on the patch it worked. The application ran and installed. The problem is that I cannot install another patch after that. The same problem will occur where, when I click on the patch to install it, nothing happens. Since I have the European version I have to have the second patch installed to install the third which I would really like. Why will the patch not install itself or even run when I double click on it? Is there anyway I can get the third patch installed on my computer without buying another cd?? This is very frustrating! Niblitz 0 Posted December 5, 2001 Scullbones, i have the 1.20 version bought in Canada and have exactly the same problem- when i d-click on the exe in the patch folder, the hd works for a second....then nothing. Tried unzipping to the addons folder on someone's advice...same thing. Got rid of everything and started from scratch.....same thing. Stood on my head and cupped myself just so......same f'n thing. 1.20 works fab, now i want mp!! CM/BIS, please fix yer patch!!!!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kkevin666 0 Posted February 21, 2002 same problem--if u got cd clone installed uninstall it-patches fine(other burning software can cause this problem as well -i have nero and its fine)op f installer detects certain registry flags and wont patch if cd clone is detected! digitalcenturion 20 Posted February 21, 2002 I think i speak for us all when i type this: ...F.U.C.K.I.N.G.. bogus software crap safedisk. May the inventor(s) of safedisk rot in #### for all eternal time.... Go to www.gamecopyworld.com and look for a prog called un-safe disk and use it per intructions on the OFP patch and it might work alot better Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
