anguis 2 Posted November 5, 2008 . . . if I change the name of the mod folder? I have ECP set up to work with GRAA. This setup doesn't allow me to use ECP with Dynamic Afghanistan Delta Force AH (the faces are messed up). If I were to install a vanilla version of ECP, could I rename its mod folder and use it with other mods/addons that don't work well with ECP+GRAA? Thanks for the help! DespairsRay 0 Posted December 28, 2008 Won't change much except some files might not be able to be located. You can only use one MOD either ECP or GRAA, there is a mixed one (it works because they mix up some of the coding to benefit from both), but the reason is when you start up ofp it only uses ONE config.bin/cpp (BIN Folder), you could maybe take the addons out of the graa folder and move it to the ecp folder or just the ofp addons folder but some of their functions may or may not work depending on how the coding architecture is set up like whether a unit/weapon/object has all its data set up in one PBO or the files are dependent on other files. I'm not sure if I cleared anything up though.
Bordic 0 Posted December 28, 2008 You could always merge the GRAAbase config with the ECP config, or simply remove/modify all strings in ECP-GRAA merging config which are related to HYK/ALTRESIS soldiers and LLAUMA heads/faces and substitute them with the standard ECP ones. Those ones should be the same which are used by GRAAbase.
anguis 2 Posted December 30, 2008 Thanks folks! What I ended up doing after posting was renaming my GRAA-modified @ECP "@ECPG". I then installed a vanilla @ECP (I have plenty of storage), which I use in conjuntion with mods that don't work well with ECP+GRAA. So far, no problems!
