xr6turbo 0 Posted October 26, 2008 Hi, Maybe someone has the same problem as i do.. and found a solution , so i hope! I made maps in my ARMA folder called: @Air ; @vehicles ; @infantry etc... where i organize my addons which i downloaded. But my problem currently ( that came all of a sudden ), that some maps doesnt load up anymore in ARMA. I use yoma's addon synchronize which always worked good and all of a sudden only loads up some maps . I checked for double addons or double replacement files , bt there arent any ... Also i tryed kegetys synchronizer which gives the same problem. Loading apart from eachother via the shortcort works however not together. maybe someone has the solution i am looking for how to solve.
Yoma 0 Posted October 26, 2008 Admins will close this as it has nothing to do with troubleshooting the game. Anyway, are you sure your addons aren't loaded? Can you see them in the editor? Maybe you just added a map that requires an addon that you forget to load? Is every addon file in a \addons subdir? (e.g. c:\arma\@myaddons\Addons) The cause of this problem is most likely a user error. Good luck
xr6turbo 0 Posted October 27, 2008 yes i checked them all twice yoma... sub dirs. are all correct. Its just so strange that it came all of a sudden. Uninstalling pbo's i downloaded b4 the problem also didnt work well. Now loading up via the shortcut seems to work ( "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@air;@infantry;@Air;@armcars;@BWMod;@effects;@SLX; ) problems like these are just buggering all day grrr
Yoma 0 Posted October 27, 2008 One thing you could try (only for my tool) is to simply download the addons from one of the default servers that's in there. If you can then launch the game by marking some of the addons and the addons work, you must have some problem with your folder structure. Also if you start putting all weapons under a subdir \Weapons\Addons then maybe you'll run into conflicting addons that prevent your arma from working correctly. Or maybe the amount of addons to be loaded also has a limit and you've reached that limit? Don't be angry, BIS has made a game that's pretty flexible. With flexibility comes complexity, that's one of the reasons i made my tool. For various reasons my tool (again complexity! ) at the moment is not compatible with folder structures like \arma\cars\cars_sport\Addons \arma\cars\cars_armored\Addons With my tool you'd have to use \arma\cars_sport\Addons \arma\cars_armored\Addons If you want me to, i can try connect to your pc and have a look.
