ArMoGaDoN 0 Posted August 29, 2008 I hope for better support for CQB + Building clearance in ArmA2: 1 Grenades that bounce off walls properly and around corners. 2 Flash-Bangs that bounce correctly, AND stun/blind enemies temporarily. 3 Smoke that blocks AI's vision. 4 Grenade blast radius that doesn't travel unaffected through floors, and grenades that don't fall through floors and explode on ground below the house? 5 Collision detection fixed so that you can turn on stairs and near objects without bashing your gun and being unable to turn - automatic raise/lower of weapon to avoid objects needed here, you would do it without thinking in RL... Reason: We tried to use ArmA for building clearance and town-clearance training, but these problems made it useless, training was a disaster, and an already restless player-base became yet more disillusioned with ArmA for their needs.
