Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted March 5, 2002 Ehh? GMAX doesnt import the models into OFP, it creates them. But you cander render with it.
Damage Inc 0 Posted March 5, 2002 AFAIK GMAX doesn't have a rendering engine, it only makes models.
Guest Posted March 5, 2002 Damage Inc is right..GMAX has no render. Not too important, but still a nice feature that it doesn't have. GMAX is a really poor choice anyway, purely because it has no 3ds export which is a problem, because Oxygen only has 3ds import (as far as I know). It IS possible to get a model from GMAX > 3ds using tempest and milkshape 3d, but it's a slow process and screws the model up sometimes. Get 3d studio max if you can.
