patching the Steam version...

The Steam version of ArmA is v1.08...usually they patch there own games, but not this time. (and i can't get a answer from them)...anyone know how you patch Steam's ArmA to the latest edition? and what file?

just download the patchs and install them to your Arma folder, or if ther are issues, \Steam\SteamApps\common\arma armed assault.

PS. "They" as in Steam/Valve do not patch other Dev/Publishers games, they host the patch if they are given one. My Arma from Steam purchase is in the same folder as my red orchestra: "common" and not in your Account folder. Which means you can remove it from the Steam Directory and use it as a DL game.
