Warfare - a quick start? And connection issues

For some reason, ARMA online for me is a nightmare. Even if I join sub-70ms ping servers I usually get a yellow or red broken chain link in the bottom right. Other games are fine, just ARMA. I'm in the UK, are most of the servers overseas?

Anyway, does anyone know if a quick-start guide for Warfare, perhaps a tutorial video, is available? If not, anyone fancy making one?

Lastly, is it possible to play Warfare offline in single player mode (due to my connection issues)? I tried joining some servers but it was hopeless.

Of course, you can just host your own LAN game an play with bots in Warfare.
