Some questions...

I've made this:

It's a lcm(3) WWII American Landing craft used on D-day in Normandy 1944...

The problem is I don't know how to get it into the game. I've read several tutorials and I have yet to see what it takes to make it all work. I'm talk'n folder structure, where to place my textures. What's required file wise and what's required path wise inside those .cfg files to make everything all line up right. My method I want to use is just making a addon .pbo and dropping it into the arma\addons folder.

After I saved it in o2 and opened it back up I can no longer get it to render...says something about a missing world.cfg or something like that followed by a few other errors. I've still got the p3d model though.

if you fire over your model & textures I'll do you up a quick folder structure and config... with a few pointers on how to build your .pbo...

rule of thumb... never put stuff into your BIS default AddOns folder... the only files that ever need/should be in there are the default stuff...

Have you looked at the .pdf in this thread?
