Puting Intro in a mission

First off thanks for any comment:) unless its spammmm::P

Ok, so i have finished a mission and intro.Now how do i merge Intro in a mission?

Just for notice, i have intro in a new map for it to be lag free so to speak.So after puting some objects, vehicles etc i saved it like Intro ... and now in that "intro" folder i have mission.sqm and intro.sqs which i created after some camera work.

Now in the mission that needs this intro i also have mission.sqm file...So general question is how do i merge this two to have that intro when starting a mission?Do i have to at all?

Oh yea i did look on so many pages and used search but nothing to be of any help to my prob.I do have some camera tut. but non says how to merge intros, outros whit a mission.

A mission with an intro/outro whatever acts just like a campaign.

After the intro ends is passes on to the mission, you just need to end the intro like a mission (end trigger).

Thanks for your comment ::)but... What i realymeant is that i need to know how do i merge Intros\Outros in a mission.

Like this..I made an Intro in Editor saved it whit a name Scene .Now i made a mission and saved it like a Mission1.Now in My documents\ArmA\Missions i have this two folders Scene and Mission1. Now i need to merge Scene inside files whit a Mission1 folder files. So that whan i preview the mission i have real intro which is taking place on anothermap than after cuts to a briefing than to a mission.

I made Init.sqs but that aint a solution.

Maybe its a prob because i have briefing inside Mission1 but whan i preview it from the editor it does not show up first like in BIS missions after intro or whitout intro...

Oh yea in a Scene folder i have made Intro.sqs for some camera work and i also have mission.sqm.Also in Mission1 folder i have mission.sqm,brefing file and some scripts.

This all is just and example.I have cinematics in a mission but only prob it isnt an Intro\outro.

And just for notice im doing "SMC" (single mission campaign) dont know how do set up needed materials for real campaigne so if you know where what to put il be much thankfull for that smile_o.gif

At the top right corner of the editor interface theres a button named "mission", click it and select intro, thats where you make your intro with camera.sqs (for SP missions).

You can also make you intro inside the mission and exec it at mission start, this way is fine for small intros but you are more limited in what you can do.

I sugest you go grab some tutorials and open some missions to see how this is done smile_o.gif .

Now i did my Intro in the way of choosing Intro in Editor and placing objects and then using camera.sqs to create some nice camera movement ::) I did all that. But then you have to create a mission in which that Intro shell be right?But there is a problem whit what script do you start that Intro in newly created Mission? You see where im going whit this .

Because if you create Intro from that menu it will have its own folder after u save it right? Now in that folder u will have mission.sqm ok? Now whan you use camera.sqs and create some camera movements you have to create script for that .Now that Intro is done.

Now you create a mission put some objects, waypoints ,mission ojectives and all other stuff for a normal mission. Now when you save it in its folder you will have also mission.sqm.

You see where i am going whit this ::) How do i merge this two things, whit a simple script, whit what ...

Also i have many tutorials but none say how you use made intros in a mission.They only explain camera movements nothing else.I have also seen how others have done their Intros but it was like thay created full script for that alone .

I can do simple mission cutscenes but it does not have same effect like Intro/outro . and it can be a system hog ::P
