iceman77 19 Posted May 27, 2008 I just wanted to make a fancier briefing...for example..I have a small mission with three objectives shown on the briefing...all three objectives have hyperlinks...(DUH!!..when i click on the diffrent hyperlinks i want the briefing to show a diffrent .jpg for each one...how do i do this? regards, Iceman
fer 21 Posted May 28, 2008 The simplest way to do this is to use custom sections (think: pages) in your briefing file. Put each JPEG in its own custom section, and I think you'll have the effect you are after. If you need an example of how to create custom sections in a briefing file, download a copy of BAS f (see link in my sig) and look at the ShackTac briefing file template. iceman77 19 Posted May 29, 2008 Thanks for the reply Fer.I have Bas-F and use it often.Bas-F is a very good template for mission makers (vets and new designers) I however don't know any HTML..(I've heard it's easy to learn)..would I need to host the .jpg somewhere first? Sorry for the confusion... Regards, Iceman
fer 21 Posted May 29, 2008 Have a look at this page: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/docs/briefing.html Towards the end there is a sub-sectoin which covers the inclusion of pictures (as JPEG files) in your briefing. Hopefully that (plus the examples of how to create custom sections in your briefing.html file which you can find in BAS f), will give you what you need.
