charliereddog 9 Posted May 23, 2008 I'm running Vista 64 and have 4gb of ram. Of course in the old days, ArmA wouldn't run with 4gb, so I disabled a gig by following the advice on the wiki "]http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Troubleshooting_Vista Now I'm trying to reinstitute my 4th Gig, but everytime I run msconfig it says I've only got 3072mb of ram? What am I doing wrong?
=ACU=Tech 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Aaah it happened to me once several months ago, but for the life of me I can't remember what I did to get it back. Maybe you can physically remove say 2Gb stick(s), reboot, shut down, add 2Gb stick(s) back and then reboot again. Windows will detect the RAM amount changes and adjust accordingly, I guess
charliereddog 9 Posted May 24, 2008 Its incredibly easy once you figure it out. Uncheck the "maximum" checkbox in msconfig, and reboot. Voila, 4gb back.
