performance on a 2core procesor

does the operation flashpoint game run on a 2core procesor like amd64 x2 6000 am2 without having to turn of one core?

or will a sempron 2.8ghz do the jobe better then the amd64 3800 2.4 ghz?

because i can get an older compiuter with the faster sempron just for operation flashpoint and leave this compiuter that i use for never games.

No you don't need to turn off one of the cores.

I haven't and it works fine for me using an overclocked AMD 64 x2 5600.

Nope, the Sempron is a cut down version of the Athlon 64. Even though it runs at a slower speed, the Athlon 64 will still beat it at single core applications.
