malik22 0 Posted April 6, 2008 Hi guys Im building a new pc next week and have a question about arma does it use more then 512mb of vmem with everything very high at 1600 1200 or 1280 1024? cause I cant decide between the 9800gtx 512 and the 8800gtx 768 I can get the 8800 a little cheaper if arma uses more then 512mb vmem then the 8800 is a better option especially with arma 2. NeoArmageddon 958 Posted April 6, 2008 I dont know if arma uses more than 512mb vram but i am using a XFX GF8800 GTX with 768mb. Arma looks great, all details very high. ~60 FPS at 1024x768 and ~40-50 at tripplehead. I think the 8800 gtx is a great GPU and its cheaper than the 9800.
