nullsystems 0 Posted March 17, 2008 Hi, I have been searching but I cannot seem to find anytihng to do with createTriggers apart from whats on the wiki, can anyone help out with some tutorials? Or at least an example on how to set different CREATETRIGGER lines, its the bit where it says " cfgvehicles " that confuses me. Thank you in advance!
fasad 1 Posted March 17, 2008 In ArmA , triggers are actually invisible objects of a class "emptyDetector". If you want to create a trigger, you need to tell ArmA what type of object to create. Use "emptyDetector", as shown in the first line of the example.
zonekiller 174 Posted March 18, 2008 unitstart = name of trigger position object = place you want the trigger to be just take a close look at a trigger and and you should see how it goes together just add this to a script <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> UnitStart=createTrigger["EmptyDetector", position object]; UnitStart setTriggerArea[500,500,0,true]; UnitStart setTriggerActivation["WEST","PRESENT",true]; UnitStart setTriggerTimeout[3,3,3, true ]; UnitStart setTriggerStatements["this", " scripttorun or command ",""]; Michael
