Sennacherib 0 Posted February 25, 2008 i want to add a female soldier with my scifi stuff, but the voices are really weird. my question: is it possible to edit or change the voices? with a program or something? to have good voices.
sanctuary 19 Posted February 26, 2008 You can try this , suggested somewhere in the offtopic section. It can create some nice female/male voices of several langage tone without too much difficulty. After that, converting the resulting .wav file into ogg with dbpoweramp or similar software or in wss with this tool should be the easy part.
Sennacherib 0 Posted February 26, 2008 thx a lot, useful news as usual btw: i must to make that for all the sentences ? :"oh no! 2 is down" for example.
sanctuary 19 Posted February 26, 2008 I am not sure as i never tried to replace voices, but give a look to Voice.pbo in the Dta (not in Res\Dta) folder of your OFP install to see how BIS has done them. If i remember well, it is not complete sentences, but separate parts. It is not " 2 , take magazine from bmp, 5 o'clock" but more something like this : "2" "take magazine from" "bmp" "5 o'clock"

Sennacherib 0 Posted February 26, 2008 well ok, i have took a look at the voices and the inv44 stuff to have almost an example. wow! that seems really complicated. i don't understand all the cpp needed to make that. is it possible to add the female voices with the resistance voices and only for the female model? the voices are separated: - west voices - east voices and the voices seem to be attached at a face; for exemple the guy (resistance side) with the moustaches has always the same voice (bass tone)
