Flackjacket 0 Posted February 10, 2008 My son and I have made a few missions that we are running together on a LAN. We'd like to be able to respawn after we get slaughtered. I used to know how to do this in Flashpoint but its been awhile. Thanks Flack
rowdied 44 Posted February 11, 2008 make a Description.ext  file and add the following lines to it. respawn = 2; <---to respawn where you died respawnDelay = 10; <-----how much time until you respawn put this file in the mission folder load it up again and export it to MP missions. Flackjacket 0 Posted February 11, 2008 I made the Description.ext using notepad and changed the extision to .ext. Will this work? I think thats how I did it in Flashpoint. Anyway heres the next problem I go to C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\Missions.... There are two folders in there :Scripts and tutorials. All the other files are the missions weve made and the ones that came with the game but they are all .pbo files not folders to add the .ext to. Any Idea what im doing wrong? Thanks for the help Flack
rowdied 44 Posted February 11, 2008 That's correct but don't save it as a single player mission, just save the mission in the editor then find the mission folder in your profile which is in the " mydocuments folder" c:\documents and settings\rowdied\my documents\arma\missions\test mp(your mission name) and then put the description.ext file in there with the mission.sqm, like ofp. Load the mission in the editor again and save it to multiplayer missions or you can download some tools to unpbo the file and re-pbo it if you like.
