problems with downloading stuff

ok, heres the problem. every time i download a new addon or a new patch and try to open the folder its in, my computer says that access is denied. however, when i look to see where i download it, the files are not there. and when i try to download them again there in the same spot were i saved them.

im confused. what sould i do?

this problem doesn't seems related to ArmA but your computer in general.

Try saving zip files on your desktop then find them ?

ok, i did that. they're there but when i try to run the .exe i window opens up that says

Quote[/b] ]this application may depend on other compressed file in this folder.

for the application to run properly. it is recommended that you first extract all files.

thats were i don't understand. this is the only file in that folder and when i press extract all it just creates a new folder and wen i press run a new window opens saying

Quote[/b] ]windows cannot camplete the extraction

the destination file could not be created

man... i hate vista
