Ai out of ammo issue

Recommended Posts

Just a small request to BIS:

Why not add a menu point that says:

"Take all magazines from ..."

I mean it's already a little bit annoying to have to tell your men to take ammo from dead bodies(added to the fact that they always use burst and waste ammo) and then they only take one clip, at least that's the impression I got...

So, it would be great to have both options:

Take all

Take one(for strategic options, like distributing the ammo among many soldiers)

What do the others think of this?

Get them to take ammo from someone with a different weapon. They'll take all the ammo they can carry this way.

I'm also not sure if they just take one clip from buddies or more and agree that they should be taking all they can, or all that time allows.

Yes, I know that, that's the workaround I used till now, but wouldn't be a menu option better? confused.gif

I agree. An additional menu option would be good. Keep the existing single clip options (if you want to kit them out with specifics).

Hi Guys im guessing u got this problem because your men have died and then have respawned with 1 clip of ammo, if so go to BD Productions webpage www.backoff.ch/ofp and go into the scripts section, there download a script called ReloadGuy, it is a script that reloads the units on respawn with the type of weapon of your choice...

It stops the AI from asking for ammo for a while anyway....until they run out of ammo again....
