Airwolf 50 Posted December 10, 2001 I am having problems with the Radeon 32mb DDR, the shadows flicker... i tried enabling 8 bit stencil and i tried the radeon tweaker utility, i tried the Raid On utility, i tried messing around with all the options in the graphics settings and the OFP settings, can anyone help me!!! please! this is torture!! my system specs are Pentium 4 Motherboard 1.90 Ghz Pentium 4 Processor 256Mb SDRAM Windows 98 PLEASE HELP!!! RN Malboeuf 12 Posted December 11, 2001 Don't need to disable the W buffer on that card unless you run T&L mode, but that mode looks like Crap with this card if you have a 400mhz or less use it as it will speed your up frame rate if you have higher mhz (say ghz) it will lower your frame rate, let direct X use your CPU cycles for this instead Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Desloc 0 Posted December 11, 2001 Are you saying that in normal D3D mode, W-Buffer enabled, that you don't see the road flickering in the distance? I find that D3D T&L mode looks much nicer than normal D3D, but runs slower and lags when zooming.
