Hind attack

first wanna thank all of you for helping me with the missions i wouldnt be on hind attack without your help but i have a prob with that mission i only played it once and i died i like spec op missions they are me favorite but i like going in alone im not a good commander when it comes to being stealth but please how should i infiltrate the base? when i spoted it it said objective complete should i just leave when i didnt blow up anything? also one of the hinds takes off and patrols the base when i get there are they sposed to do that? should i go in guns blazing or stealth all the way i tryed doing stealth when i got close enough to the base i told them to stop and they did i also told them cease fire but they got spotted somehow then i eventuly got spotted what do you guys recommend i do?

I think the easiest way to beat this mission is to head toward the Hind base, and when you start getting close to it from the south, run through the forest to the east of the base. Then, after you've run a fair way, approach the base from the North-East. Watch out for one patrol here, but then you can just run up to the nearest chopper, take off, and start blowing stuff up. The troops will see you, but if you jump in quickly, they won't be able to get a shot off (just make sure that the patrolling BMP is out of the area first). Also, make sure that you keep the chopper low to the ground since there are some Shilkas about. The other chopper shouldn't attack you (it's never attacked me before).

When you've detroyed the choppers on the ground, fly over the extraction point and when you're over the nearby forest, eject and let the chopper crash into the ground (you need to destroy the choppers, after all ). Then run to the evac point. You don't need to destroy the chopper that takes off to complete the mission - just kill all the others.

That's the easiest way to do the mission, but it probably feels like cheating a bit.

[Guest Titanium]

Easy way to beat this mission is pick up your crew. All you need to do is give them one order. "move to <here>" Place them there because you dont need them for this mission. Locate the hind base. Easy way is steal a truck and follow the rest. Then run into the forest near there. Get some good cover and open fire on the enemy soldiers. I belive there are 20 or so when i did this. you should only use about 2-3 mags of ammo. Then run next to the hinds, place the satchels and haul ass outta there. Blow em and you beat that mission.

thx guys i pwn3d them ruskies cus of you with no casulties but the mission after that pissed me off so much the tank one i beat it with noone dead but my teammates were such crackheads

Basically you attack from the forest. With your silenced weapon you should be able to take most of them without them realising what's happening. Don't worry about the Hind, it never fired a single shot.

I took out the troops in the town to start with, and saved it at that point, I then took out the crew of the BMP as it drove past......not easy, but once in the BMP I could take out the base avoiding the BMP and T-72 in the woods and attacking it broad side without resistance.

I actually found the AI spec ops to be invaluable in this mission. When I entered the camp (emerging from the nearby forest, of course) I set them to danger, engage at will, stand up. By advancing slowly into the camp I could simply watch as they did the dirty work for me. No return fire, no noise.

Silenced weapons should be even more lethal now due to the AI fix in 1.45 regarding killer always detected.
