kfine 0 Posted February 27, 2002 Is there a script that allows my troops to get on the chooper while it waits for them to get on the ground; with it's blades rotating; and then takes off to the next waypoint after everyone is on? kfine 0 Posted March 1, 2002 It did not work. I wanted the mission to start where the Helo is waiting on the ground. Is there a script command that enable the engine of the Helo? The mission starts like this: There are three Helos on the ground with their blades rotating waiting on 24 troop members to board the three helos. SomeOFPGuy 0 Posted March 2, 2002 You can set the Helo as "flying" in it's initialization.. and then.. use: Â name flyinheight 8.5 Â where 8.5 is a height (in meters I think). Â You can start in a low hover, or, theoretically, on the ground. ---> Word of advice, don't forget to change flyinheight back to a descent value once you want to fly!!!! (or else....) Happy Editing! Sl@sh 0 Posted March 3, 2002 maybe this 'll work place a waypoint for the heli near you and a trigger between you and the heli. In the on activation field type heliname land "LAND". Now create another waypoint where you want the heli to go. In the on Condition field type: soldiername in heliname AND soldier2 in heliname etc. To make the units get in create a waypoint (get in), place it on the heli's 1st waypoint and synchronize them. chickenman 0 Posted March 24, 2002 have the helicopter start on the ground with however many squads you want to try fit in it nearby. helicopter's first waypoint set to TALK, and then theres three boxes with min, mid and max, and something about time. if you put all three box's to 30, the chopper will wait on the ground doing nothing for 30 seconds, before moving to the next waypoint. this is ample time for the lads to get on. for the squads, add a waypoint by clicking ontop of the chopper and setting it as "get in". then add another waypoint (seach and destroy) or whatever and put that over where you want them to go after the chopper drops them off. i think that makes sense. Rastavovich 0 Posted March 25, 2002 Place an H(invisible) where your chopper should wait then give the copper a "load"-waypoint. Give all squads which should board the chopper a "get in"-wp and group those wps with the load-wp of the chopper.
