Whats going on?

I have a SLA Mi17, that is used to ferry the US Pows about. Now i have set all the pows to captive true; but when i move them in cargo, even though the sla in pilot, the other commie bastards attack the helo. Rpg when on the ground, or small arms fire when its landing at a sla base.

havnt these buggers read the Geneva Convention lol smile_o.gif

Any ideas on how to stop this, bar setting the pows side to east. When liberated they will fight the commies.

which discusses a similar problem, I believe you have to use a combination of setCaptive AND have them join the helo's group. Also note the suggestion to make sure the POW's are all lower rank than the helo.

I will try it later but in the meantime you may want to try something like that.

Any vehicle with enemy's inside, captive or not, is seen as an enemy vehicle by the ArmA engine.

This is a big problem in Evolution SP too. sad_o.gif

The only other option I can think of if the setCaptive / Join Group suggestion does not work is to change the behaivor]http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setBehaviour]behaivor and/or combat mode of nearby/all east soldiers while the POW's are in the helo. Ofcourse this means they may not fire on anyone, but if that works for your mission it might be an option.

I noticed, if i made the sla pilot captive, and this helped until he landed and got out.
