FetishFool 0 Posted February 27, 2002 Blackhawks are more efficient, and can lift more than the old UH1-H Huey. The UH1-H could transport 12 soldiers in it's cargo, along with 2 gunners, and 2 pilots. But I don't think it could lift a jeep, none-the-less a Humvee. I want to see a UH1-C in OPF. Just a nice, small, highly manuvuerable chopper, with 2 door gunners. If BIS can only add one door gunner, then forget it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He could call it the "NeggroHawk" with the extra 'g', and I'd still take him seriously. I don't know many facts about the UH-1's protection against fire, but I do know that it got shot down by small-arms a lot. The UH-60 seems to hold well against anything up to 12.7mm. Guest Posted February 28, 2002 People always seem to think the next addon vehicle/weapon HAS to be better than the equivilant already in the game which is pretty sad. Huey would be great for 2 reasons, 1. I believe it was more widely available in 1985 than the blackhawk and 2. Totally. Variety is more important than quaility. It would be a pretty dull game if we only had the best of everything; OFP2 featuring 1 assault rifle, 1 tank, 1 helo.... osirisra 0 Posted February 28, 2002 Not having a Huey in OFP has always been a thorn in my side and I'm not even American. The Huey has and still is been used all over the world in many different variations for many purposes and has to be one of the most famous and well used choppers even made. It is a little odd that there is no Huey in the game and believe me I have been tearing my hair our ever since oxygen was mentioned so I can finally make some Huey's for OFP. I've got some models all ready to go just need oxygen to make them ready for the game. One thing I do need is some good sound of the Huey , anyone got any?
