Pillage 0 Posted December 7, 2007 I'm not sure how long this site has been around but it's new to me and I could find no mention of it searching through these forums. AT&T have an online Text to Speech (TTS) program to promote their Natural Voicesâ„¢ application. I has multiple voices (gender and accent), It allows you to preview the file in your browser or download it. I just thought it one of the most useful sites I've come across recently and have already output several mission/objective clips. Balschoiw 0 Posted December 8, 2007 I guess it has been mentioned sometimes. Still, more in a context with an alternative approach for speech-creation for Arma 2 as the way it´s implemented in Arma 1 is choopy and surreal at times. Anyway, imo the results still sound "robotic" in some ways. With a decent sound-proggie, some pitching and effects you can record multiple speakers on your own with better results. Pillage 0 Posted December 9, 2007 Anyway, imo the results still sound "robotic" in some ways. With a decent sound-proggie, some pitching and effects you can record multiple speakers on your own with better results. I also noticed some of the sentences I wanted came out robotic but after experimenting with alternative words, phonetic spelling or even deliberate mistakes and commas in the middle of words, I found it can result in a much more realistic output file. The site and AT&T Naturalvoices in general, support JSML Tags for further tweaking of the file. Lastly, after some use I find the sounds of the female US\UK accented voices to generate the more natural sounding recordings.
