CarlGustaffa 4 Posted November 4, 2007 Not sure if this is the right forum, but since it's using own mission I'll give it a go here. I'm just curious what gets saved in a savegame. My .sqm mission file is 572k, which is a bit on the hefty side I admit, but I guess I can blame some on lots of hints going on. 10 songs and 42 sounds (no radio yet) makes it a hefty mission file of bout 22MB. However, what really concerns me is the size of the savegame: 100MB ?!?!? What gives? I feel the "standard" saves of about 3-5MB is a bit on the heavy side, but this is insane. I don't think I'll be able to "fight back much", but does anyone know what is carried over into the savegames? Music and soundfiles instead of links? Full scripts instead of links and line numbers? Scipt comments still in there? What's going on with the savegame filesize?
Maddmatt 1 Posted November 5, 2007 Full scripts get carried over. I don't think sounds do. Does the huge savegame file load successfully? You can open up the save files with Laza, by Flea. You can get it here. That should help you find the problem.
