Â When using RW during a game (to avoid getting flamed for using VON) if the server has VON enabled RW comes through with static. Â If the server has VON disabled RW functions fine. As most pubs have VON enabled it's a real pain not being able to use RW. Â Any ideas on how to kill VON locally? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

RedRogue 0 Posted February 26, 2002 1. Unplug your mic from your soundcard, or unplug the voice commander 'hockey puck' from your computer. 2. Run the OFP preferences, go to setup voice or whatever it is. Run the voice setup and you will get an error. Your Von transmission has just become disabled. Your RW will now come thru clear to others. The rest of the members of your squad will need to do this to come thru clear. Don't forget to reconnect your mic.
