Barnes 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I have the Atari US Arma version.  It will install fine, but when I install the 1.08 patch I get the following error: error found in file addons/buildings.pbo (88c1ae65!=f578963c) I received several other similar errors afterwards while trying to install the 1.08 patch.  I have consulted the official page and this forum for advice.  I took the advice and thus far I have reinstalled 3 times, and downloaded the patch from 2 other sources.  I am still getting the same errors. Please help

sickboy 13 Posted October 21, 2007 Hi there There are 2 versions of the patch, one for international usage and one for the us version. Altough I think both will work on the US version, you might want to check if you got the right one. When you reinstall, make sure you remove the complete ArmA folder from your harddrive after uninstalling, just to make sure you get fresh copies on your drive when installing. If problems keep occuring, I would guess you have an issue with one of your hardware components, possibly: [*] CPU [*] RAM Maybe harddrive but such problems become usually clear very soon. The problems could be in overheating, deffective components or wrong settings (overclocking, or memory timings/speed). Another option is that the patch installer reports false errors, and all is actually okay, I can barely remember if I got these issues
