I)eaI)Eye1809 0 Posted February 23, 2002 hi i am on the mission turning the tide i think the one were you attack the russian camp please someone am i doing something wrong i tried everything but we all keep dieing at the base this happened alot so i decided to crawl with my men all the way well we took out all the threats on the way then when i got close enough to the base camp i call in bravo to attack then what!?!? if we attack we die if we stay there we die the cloest i got was to kill all the russians that were escaping i was by my self and ingured i ended up dieing anoter time i made it with a few men still alive then guess what? my team mate probally thought it was fun to throw a gernade at me so he did and i deid =( =( =( plz tell me how to command my men for that mission and were and when to attack Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Cyberdyne 0 Posted February 23, 2002 Is this the one where you're in a valley... I kept them in line formation and got near enough to the base to take out the two BMPs. Then I called in Bravo squad and went no further. I told my men to take some cover (don't let them run off) and then when ever I saw a Russian in the base I took him out (this can take some time). Once I thought it was safe again, my men and I got up and carried on into the base where Bravo were mopping up some men hiding in tents. There were no survivors from the base and I completed it more or less straight away. Remember: Let the Russians come to you (when you're near next to the base), they seem to be too well entrenched for a Rambo type assault. Call in Bravo after the two BMPs are dead or else you wont be able to kill them [the BMPs] because they'll drive off (it's much easier to kill them at the start). Don't leave your position too early. Watch out you DON'T kill Bravo members. This technique worked for me, although it might take a few attempts. I saved it just before I had to kill the two BMPs. SpaceAlex 0 Posted February 23, 2002 Take sniper rifle (M21) and LAW Launcher. When the game starts, wait there and lie down. Turn left. You'll see a group of soldiers soon. Snipe them and then proceed to the moutian(Where the group of soldiers was). Tell your team to hold position. Crowl to the end of the moutian. Snipe the soldiers in the valley. Oreder your team to fall back into formation. Proceed to the end of the moutian. Take down the BMP's with your LAW when you'll see them, call Bravo team, start sniping. Proceed to the soviet base and clear all remaining enemy. That's the easiest way. And very fun.Use this technique and you won't be sorry. I'm playing with super AI on and soldiers are smarter with Super Ai, but they won't even nothest you if you'll have Super AI off. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Deus Ex 0 Posted March 23, 2002 take out the guys on the hill with you, then move a little ways to where bravo attacks, take the LAW and shoot the BMP's from a distance, make sure you save it just incase you miss or hit the bmp, once all bmps are down, move you and your men to where bravo moves in tell bravo to attack, then move in with bravo. works really good. i remember playeing the campaing 2nd time and using that tactic. make sure you save it alot.
