SLA mission for 8 players.

Description:

Hunt down 3 enemy officers from enemy base near Cabo Santa Lucia.

The trick is that the third officer is hiding and only emerges when evac chopper comes for him. There is the only short window to get him.

(some aspects in revive config were somewhat odd to me so I'm not quite sure how it goes in the end)

This map is not running on our dedicated...

I have tried locally on my pc and says that is requiring sandbag fix or something...

Does it need any addons and if yes do they have to be installed client side or server side or both?

This is still beta version of mission so I'll propably mold it and change it to not need the addon..

also not so sure from the above post. Do i have to install that on my pc...or on the dedicated server as well?

Here you go.

It is needed on server side as well.

It's not in so big role in this mission as it is in other mission I released at same time where I use it with "trenches1.1" script which allows men to kneel properly and shoot behind sandbags and barrels.

I usually avoid too much addons but this one is a very good one particularly for base defeding.

apparently on the 1.09 patch the sandbag thing is fixed...so hopefully you can revise your missions so they don't need addons...;)

If the sandbagfix is installed on the server can it stay there for missions that they don't need it...or it has to be put only when this mission is played?

i have installed the sandbag fix both on dedicated and on my pc..but the mission still refuses to play...

when i load it...is just don't load at all..and switching to another map...

is the same with the "kt the pocket"

do they need any other addons? do they need trenches as well?

Trenches is only a pack of scripts and not needed.

I'm digging into this subject this week and will update it by removing all Sandbagfix related objects.

I'll also update all older missions in Ka-Tet mission pack to date.

good job man...addons are always a pain and always a mystery to me...as i don't know what i need and if it is server and client or client only..also..when you have them on a dedicated server..and people select this map..and cannot play it...and have to go out to put one specific addon or the other...is a bit of a bugger...

if you can do without the addons without your missions losing too much...then that would be great...:)

I'm updating also all older missions in "Ka-Tet*mission pack 2.0"

Their names have a"@" by fault for addons which they do not need..

In bountyhunters I had forgotten that the "WIRE" elements belong also in the sanbag fix so I have removed them.

Update should be complete at end of this week on all missions.

I'm making also my own page for downloads.

Will post here when everything is hunky dory... wink_o.gif
