Damage Textures - whats the trick

Recommended Posts

I have one model where dammagefull is working, but on another model I can't seem to get any texture swapping going at all !  crazy_o.gif

This works;

Quote[/b] ]dammageFull[] = {"\GNT_Ka26\ka26carg.pac", "\GNT_Ka26\ka26carg_d.paa"};

This doesn't;

Quote[/b] ]dammageFull[] = {"\GNT_PiperWII\Warrior0_co.paa","\GNT_PiperWII\destr.paa"};

Whats the trick?

Is a special file formats? selected areas? named areas ?

I've looked at the two models, and theres nothing that stands out as a config or p3d difference .....

1. tools have been released so it's better to make damage via materials not just textures wink_o.gif

2. i doubt you will get an advice without full configs

I'm back for a little bit ..... and would like to release the Piper

But without working Damage Textures ...... sad_o.gif

@bdfy

I dont follow mad_o.gif this config line is the only thing that forms the use of damage textures, asside from the textures themselves.

there's a topic with armoured_sheep answer how to configure damage effects. it's better to do  it via Damage parameter using materials
