Dwarden 1125 Posted August 8, 2007 with 1 and more GB of RAM u see nearly no perf increase ... several reasons first it was meant as boost for NoteBooks with less than 512MB of RAM second USB 2.0 flash drives are slow and FireWire isn't much faster third it's useful only for small files not huge blocks of data any SATA based SSD (solid state drive) are expensive too so in the end it's cheaper combine fast HDDs into stripped RAID Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
