The Editing Center's Beta Party!

After experiencing the joys of Beta Testing for years on our website, it is time to organize a large event aimed at Beta Testing in order to produce large piles of missions. Bug and showstopper free and enjoyable till the end! The Beta Testing Party will be held for two weeks, starting on Friday the 10th of August, 0:01 am GMT+1 (BST).

Participating is really easy! All you have to do is download a mission, and write a beta report afterwards. Your report will then be added to your point total, maybe even moving you up the ranking! Yes, I said a ranking, you can actually gain from this Party - other than have fun and enjoy good missions. The winner will get a special avatar usable on any forum, an interview - remember Bardosy's interview which got thousands of views? - and of course all the honour you deserve!

Hopefully mission authors from the whole community will post their missions in development in the OFPEC Beta Boards in order to rack up a lot of comments on what to improve in the missions, and how to do it!

are those missions on your beta testing board icluded in this event or you have other new ones that you will post somewere ?

Announcement: The temporary name Beta Testing Party has been replaced by Project Beta

All missions on our beta boards (arma & ofp) can be played in Project Beta. As long as the mission authors have been online at least once since July the 10th. We have no missions waiting somewhere to be released, of course some authors might post missions during the event. These missions can of course be beta tested to rack in points.

Posting new missions in the boards is encouraged to help get the community more missions.

Since the first announcement we already have 5 additional SP missions for ArmA. So things are starting pretty good. Only a few days remaining!
