can you skip an intro script in SP?

I can't find anything in the search on a topic like this.

On a side mission like the 1st sniper one, I die.. a lot.

I keep replaying it, and I really don't need to see the HMMV drop me off, ever again.

Is there a way to skip forward?

if the hmmw stuff is part of the missions intro you can press esc and skip intro

You can't skip it unless it's part of the intro/outro part of the mission ._.

Save after the intro. Be careful though, restoring a saved mission might break it hehe
