sledge57 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Hi, new guy here. I have the popular problem of not being able to start the game after the patch (US Ver) (reinstalled 4 times now, gettin old). Â I've read through everything and found a new EXE from Securom. So I've reinstalled but haven't yet re-tried the patch and new EXE. My question is, have those who have updated to 1.08 (and have it working) found it better? I'm not unhappy with it as installed from the DVD but if the patch actually might make it better I'm all for it, I just don't want to make it become a PITA like it seems to be for some. Zoolander64 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Greetings, I had a very simliar situation, but I caused it. I had messed with my nVidia "Manage 3D Profiles" for the game, and it caused a few games to act wierd. ArmA was one of them, and it would not start. I found that when I uninstalled my video drivers, and reinstalled them the profiles were set back to their defaults.
